Feng Shui 'Plant'

Is Feng Shui a psychological thing or is it about 'real' energy? ; this was a question posed to me today by a non-chinese colleague of mine.

She was quite puzzled as there were 2 big plants put on her table (as she is a Receptionist-the first contact to outsiders into the huge Plant). Infact what ever put on her table reflected the organisation's believes systems and values.

Perhaps the mentioned organisation would like the visitors to have a perception that its(the organisation) has a lot of emphasis and care about the environment ? or were the plant put upon a Feng Shui Master advice?

Either reasons are not being tastefully done. If for Feng Shui reasons then it is really puzzled me. As a Feng Shui Practitioner, we all know that we place plants for certain reasons such as to draw the Qi or to reflect the gua of the sector, some of the example. Definitely would not like to place 2 huge pot of plants on the receptionist table.

Well, by now a lot of people would aware that merely by placing ornaments, trinkets and plants will not solve any feng Shui issues in a building.

It is the type and quality of Qi that the organisation is enjoying or at least try to tap that is important.

Well I would say this sort of action by putting plants in the hope of come major improvement to the organosation is somewhat like what Steven Covey mentioned before: " Leaning on to the wrong wall"

No matter how fast you climb to the top of the ladder and only realised when you reach the top rung and you look and exclaim " Oh my god ! i have been leaning against the wrong wall"

Well the moral of the story :
Have a complete plan or road map on what want to do and not piece meal planning. This same applies to metaphysical world. Get a whole Feng Shui Audit and not just the Entrance Lobby. Remember it is the LOCATION and the DIRECTION.
